Just a quick post today to share a new favorite smoothie. I was thrilled to discover this Almond Nog at Trader Joe’s last week!
I love egg nog but it is so heavy and rich, and I am doing my best to cut down on dairy. I was so happy to see this almond milk version of egg nog. I warmed some up for an evening treat, but thought it would also be fun to use in a smoothie.
I used three simple ingredients and this smoothie turned out delicious! I always keep frozen bananas in my freezer for smoothies. I used a whole frozen banana, 1 cup of the Almond Nog and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and mixed it all up in my blender. Depending how large your banana is you could add an ice cube or two to thicken it up if needed.
If you are an egg nog lover, grab a carton of Almond Nog next time you are at Trader Joe’s and try this smoothie out.
Almond Nog Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup Almond Nog
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
Mix all ingredients in blender and enjoy!
